Here the oils are slightly more expensive, but more accessible than in Bogotá. To get oil paintings at a decent price there, I have to go to a dodgy office downtown, or search for one or two hours in San Victorino, until a reasonable offer appears.
Big art shops are a scam. Here, little old ladies with small businesses sell you art supplies at a fair price.
On the other hand, fabric is way cheaper in Colombia, and of better quality too.
Painting is running out and I have to manage with the few colours left.
